1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon extract
3 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup Atkinson's Plain Yellow Corn Meal
1/2 cup raisins

Cream
butter; add sugar
gradually and cream
well. Beat in eggs
until light and fluffy.
Add lemon extract.
Sift together flour,
baking powder, salt,
cinnamon and cornmeal;
add to creamed mixture
mixing thoroughly.
Add rasins. Roll
dough to 1/8-inch
thickness on lightly
floured board; cut
with floured cookie
cutter. Bake on greased
baking sheet in moderately
hot oven (400°F.)
10 to 15 minutes
or until lightly
browned.
