you'll find a company that has
a rich history dating all the
way back to the year 1757. That's
right, we've been making quality
cornmeal-type products since
before the American Revolution!
Since we are a family-owned business,
making quality, competitively
priced products is not just our
job, it's our personal commitment.
We try to put a little bit of
family pride into every bag we
make. If our products are not
the very best products on the
market, then they don't deserve
the name "Atkinson's" on
the bag.
 In
it's infancy, Atkinson Milling
Company used millstones to
grind the very best fine
stone-ground cornmeal. Since
tradition and quality are
important to us, we still
make our fine stone-ground
cornmeal the same way today.
In fact, we are the last
water-powered gristmill operating
in Eastern North Carolina
and all of our cornmeal is
made “water-ground
style”. Over the years,
our business has evolved
into a wide variety of products
that have kept up with the
times, while keeping that
same old-fashioned, guaranteed-fresh
quality of the past.
 We
hope you will take a little
